Judy K. Elkins, 84, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Amber Manor Assisted Living Center. She was born on April 18, 1936 in Petersburg, Indiana to James M. and Margaret J. (Osman) Dorsey.

Judy married Barney J. Elkins on September 1, 1957. She was the school nurse at Petersburg Elementary School for 35 years before retiring. Judy was a member of the Main Street Presbyterian Church and Delta Theta Tau. Judy is survived by: daughters, Jamie (Jeff) Ferguson, and Jodie Elkins; brother, Thomas (Cheryl) Dorsey; two granddaughters, Abigail (Dan) Hirons and Michelle Lanham; and great-granddaughter, Lola Mae Hirons.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm EST on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, Indiana with Rev. Gary Arnold officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Petersburg Public Library or P.A.W.S. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
