Judith Catt

Judith A. Catt, 83, of Spurgeon passed away July 15, 2026 at her residence. She was born April 22, 1943 to William and Lois Shaw in Pekin, IL. Judith was the light of her family and friends lives. She married her husband, Gerald Catt, on September 10, 1961. Judith loved the Chicago Bears and rooted for them every season. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Judith is survived by her daughters, Denitra Catt and Lea (Eric) Heaton of Spurgeon, IN; son, Shane (Rhonda Pride) Catt of Jasper, IN; grandchildren, Mitchell (Tiffani) Wiscaver, Katelyn (Cory) Carr, Nicolle (Cory) Booker, Renee (Steve) Schopmeyer, Joseph Catt, Stephanie Lifford, Travis Bonnell, and Ryan Pride; great grandchildren, Carson, Kailee, Camden, and Karli Wiscaver, Bennett Carr, Evelynn, Orrin, and Arliss Schopmeyer, Kimber Bonnell, Jaelyn Kurtenbach, Bryant and Valerie Catt, and Lawrence Lifford.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Catt; her son, William “Bill” Catt; and a great grandson, Joseph Neal.

In accordance with Judith’s wishes she will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
