Juanita Frances Franklin, 97, of Winslow, passed away October 21, 2020 in Petersburg, IN. She was born December 18, 1922 to J.B. and Frances Hayden in Winslow, IN. She was born and raised in Winslow and after graduating from business school in the late 40's she moved to Maryland. There she worked as a secretary at the Pentagon and played piano for her church. While attending church she met her husband, James E. Franklin. After retiring in 1975, she and James moved back to Winslow, IN.

Juanita is survived by her friends and caregivers, Karen and Larry Seymour of Petersburg. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 AM on Monday, October 26, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Terry Beadles will be officiating and Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
