Joseph E Clinard passed away July 3, 2024 at Amber Manor Care Center with his wife by his side. Joseph was born May 3, 1930 to Edward and Maude Shoultz Clinard in Mecca, Indiana. Joseph took great pride in his family, especially his wife of 76 years, Anna Mae Brock, whom he married on July 3, 1948. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 70 years and also a member of the Operating Engineers Local 181 for over 50 years. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eugene Cinard, sisters Mary Louise Stafford and Rosalie Like, and a daughter-in-law Sharon.

Joseph is survived by his wife, two sons John and Jim (Cindy), four grandchildren; Kyle (Renee) Clinard, Libby Worland and Hal, Jamie (Stephen) Kessen, and Abby (Heath) Briggeman. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; Baleigh, Kendall, Caleb, Ava, Kyson and Kaelyn, 1 step great-grandchild Olivia Adams, 2 step great-great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Services will take place at 12 PM on Monday, July 8, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Pastor Gary Arnold will be officiating and burial will follow at Hamline Chapel Cemetery in Monroe City, Indiana. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.
