Jon E. Seifers, 79, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his home in Mount Olympus, Indiana.  He was born July 11, 1940 in Patoka, Illinois to Harry and Virginia (Vore) Seifers, graduating with the Patoka (IL) Class of 1958.  Following high school, the family returned to Indiana, where he married Eleanor (Fithian) Seifers on May 3, 1963.  Jon owned and operated Seifers Oil Company in Princeton, IN until retirement in 2002.  He was a member of Mt. Olive UMC in Mount Olympus, IN.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; sons Brad (Dawn) Seifers of Petersburg, IN and Scott (Dusty) Seifers of Mount Olympus; grandchildren Rachel and Jon Mark Seifers; and brother Jim Seifers of Princeton, IN.

A private family service be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olive United Methodist Church and mailed to Harris Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Petersburg, IN 47567.

The family would like to thank Dr. Karl Sash and the nurses, aides, and social service staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for the exemplary care and services they provided for Jon and his family over these last 6 months.
