John R. Radcliff, 77, of Petersburg, passed away September 5, 2026 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg. He was born March 23, 1949 to Walter and Helen (Stone) Radcliff in Washington, IN. He graduated from Petersburg High School Class of 1967. John served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He served in Vietnam and was later stationed in Germany where he met his wife, Ann Radcliff.

John is survived by his brother, Forrest “Frosty” (Sandra) Radcliff; sister, Stella Nelson; nieces, Kendrea (Mitch) Parker, Keila (Steve) Shepherd, and Kyle Hindahl; and a nephew, John Allen Chandler.

John is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Radcliff; his parents; and his sister, Mabel Shemfessel.

A graveside service for John will take place at 10 AM EST on Friday, September 11, at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Military Honors will be handled by the Petersburg VFW Post #3587. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations please be made to Walnut Hills Cemetery and may be mailed to PO Box 217, Petersburg, IN 47567. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
