Jodie E Wade ,90, of Hazleton, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 23rd 2023 at the Heart to Heart Hospice house surrounded by his family.

Jodie was born on June 6th 1932 to Otis (Tuffy) Wade & Hazel (Jones) Wade.

Jodie was a proud veteran of the Air Force. He served as a MP. He was an outdoorsman. Jodie loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening & anything outdoors. Jodie was preceded in death by his parents Otis (Tuffy) Wade, Hazel Wade, Stepdad (Ausie) Amos, Brother Bill Amos, Sisters Lora & Flora Taylor, Grandson Rocky Wade & his wife of 46 years Norma Leen (Willis) Wade.

Jodie is survived by a son Jodie Alan Wade, 2 daughters Teresa (Nash) Wade & Rita (Phillips) Wade, Grandchildren Marty, Amy Lynn, Jason, Danny, Ashley, Heather, Tyler, Stacey Jackson, Courtney Dowling, and 8 Greatgrandchildren, Wife Barbara (Beadle) Wade & Stepdaughter Sherri Gee.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on March 31st at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of services on the 31st. Burial will follow at Willis Cemetery in Petersburg. Pastor Barry Whittaker will be officiating the services. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.
