Jim "Jimmy" Dale Lamb, 73, passed away November 2, 2017.
He was born in Knox County on October 24, 1944 to Beuford & Ada (Robling) Lamb. Jimmy owned and operated Jim's Auto & Glass in Petersburg, Indiana. He also served in the United States Army. He married Norma (Wint) Lamb on May 10, 1995.
Jimmy was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters; brother, Bill Lamb; son, Stacy Lamb; and, wife Eileen Kay (Buchta) Lamb in 1990. Jimmy & Eileen were married in 1965.
He is survived by: his wife, Norma Lamb of Petersburg; a daughter, Kimberly Rogers of West Lafayette; a step-son, David Sloan of Petersburg; and 3 grandchildren, Mitchell & Gillian Rogers and Savannah Sloan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm EST on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Harris Funeral in Petersburg, Indiana. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery with a graveside military service by V.F.W. Post #3587 of Petersburg. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service on Tuesday.
