Janet Rae Morton, 72, of Evansville, passed away September 17 at Solarbron Point in Evansville, IN. She was born November 2, 1948 to Harold and Gladys (Phillips) McClellan in Petersburg, IN. She and her husband, Michael Morton, were married July 17, 1998.

Janet is survived by her husband, Michael Morton; brothers, Freddy and Teddy McClellan; and sister, Carolyn Jean Byer. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Brenda and Anna.

Services for Janet will take place at 2 PM EST on Tuesday, September 21, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 12 PM until service time. Pastor David Kiegel will be officiating and burial will follow at Spurgeon Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
