Jackson A. Dillon, 84, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away May 16, 2026, at home. He was born November, 24th, 1941, to Frank and Esther Davis Dillon in Princeton, Indiana. He graduated from Mt. Olympus High School with the class of 1960. He married his wife of 63 years on September 23rd, 1962. Jackson was a member of the Glezen Revival Center since 1975.

Jackson worked in the oil fields, drilling water wells and factories before going to the mission field in May 1981. He served a total of 15 years on the mission field with 5 years in Lagarto Texas, Mathis Texas, Belize, Central America, with the Indian villages, and 10 years on the Texas/Mexico border living on the Texas side in five different places and traveling into Mexico to help Spanish churches. He taught on both sides and helped build churches. Jackson also worked on many other missionary's vehicles on the Texas side.

Jackson loved music and enjoyed playing the accordion as well as the keyboard.  In his younger years, Jackson especially loved fishing with his best friend, Gary Welch.

Jackson is survived by his wife, Paula (Fair) Dillon and their children, John Wesley, Katrina Fragoso (Jerry), Jason (Kristy) and Joseph (Michelle); 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Jackson was proceeded in death by his brothers John Dillon and Lester Dillon; sisters, Geraldine Maxam and Nina Lou Ferraro; and a granddaughter, Siarra Barrow.

A service for Jackson will take place at 1 PM EST on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Glezen Revival Center in Glezen, IN with visitation from 12 PM EST until service time. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
