Ira Dennis Morton, 90, of Winslow, passed away Wednesday, July 14, in Petersburg, IN. He was born November 29, 1930 to Donald and Minnie (Wineinger) Morton in Dubois County, IN.

Dennis is survived by his son, John (DeeAnna) Morton; grandchildren, Meagan Morton and Jacob Morton; brother, Gene (Ruth) Morton; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Morton; his parents; brothers, Harold, Clifton, and Wendell Morton; and sister, Ana Lea Ennis.

Services for Dennis will take place at 1 PM EST on Monday, July 19, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM until service time that day. Pastor Don Fausnaugh will be officiating and burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
