Helen M. Onyett, 86, of Petersburg, passed away June 15, 2021. She was born January 10, 1935 in Petersburg to Crodel and Noma (Frentress) Gross. She married her husband of 67 years, Robert P. Onyett, on July 25, 1953. She worked as a secretary at the family business Onyett Fabricators. She was a faithful member of the Petersburg Free Methodist Church.

Helen is survived by her husband, Robert P. Onyett; sons, Jack (DeeDee) Onyett, Bobby (Colleen) Onyett, Kerry (Trisha) Onyett, Brad (Stephanie) Onyett, Michael (Jackie) Onyett; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 grandson; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.

A graveside service will take place for Helen at 10 AM EST on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Pastors Paul Newton and Mark Schlechty will be officiating. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
