Harvey Callahan, 89, of Union, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Amber Manor in Petersburg.

He was born on September 11, 1932 in Odon, Indiana to Roy and Audry (Ash) Callahan.

Harvey retired from the City of Washington Sanitation Department.  He attended Union Community Church, served on Civil Defense, and spent 15 years with the Union Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and niece Krista Storey.

Harvey is survived by his wife of 33 years, Doris Callahan; nephews Roger & Britton English, Clint Clore, Jeff Sweppy, and John, Jason, Josh, Scott, & Brian Collins; nieces Michele Cardinal & Andra DeHaven; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
