Tom Meadors, 83, passed away July 6, 2019 at Amber Manor in Petersburg, IN. Born November 18, 1935 to Lawrence and Mary (Garland) Meadors in Otwell, IN. Tom worked and retired as a Laborer for the Local #561 Union and was also a farmer. He married his wife, Violet Meadors, on March 21, 1969. He is survived by his wife, Violet Meadors; sons, Mitchell (Susie) Meadors of Ormond Beach, FL and JR (Kim) Meadors of Otwell, IN; daughters, Vicki (Denny) Weisman of Otwell, Ruthie (Steve) Barrett of Otwell, Donna (Jerry Hodges) Miller of Martinsville, IN, Jean Ann Garretson of Evansville, IN, Brandee (Chad) Mehringer of Otwell, IN and Tenny (Redouane Wahid) Murray of Hampton, VA; grandchildren, Craig Weisman, Ashley Kutch, Ethan Meadors, Trent Barrett, Greg Barrett, David Miller, John Miller, and Jade Miller; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grand daughter. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Voris Briedenbaugh, LaVern Buchta, and Nancy Traylor. A graveside service will take place at 10 AM EST on Tuesday, July 9, at Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, IN. In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Otwell Cemetery and can be mailed to 4175 N Co. Rd. 625 E. Otwell, IN 47564. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
