Fred (Dave) Whittington, 75, of Washington IN, passed away April 20, 2026 in Washington. Dave was born on February 20, 1951 to Fred and Grace (Sandefer) Whittington in Princeton, IN. Dave graduated from Petersburg High School. He then went on to become a carpenter and to traveling the roads as a truck driver for many years.

Dave is survived by his son, Jarod (Alyssa) Whittington; daughter, Tracy Nall; his sisters, Carolyn Selby, Linda (Larry) Willis, Marilyn (Jack) Steelman, Joyce (Danny) Stafford, Judy (Brad) Coy; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Kenny Selby; sisters, Sharon and infant sister Mary Kay.

The family of Fred (Dave) would like to thank Prairie Villages’ staff for the great care and support of Dave.

In accordance to Dave’s wishes, he will be cremated with a graveside service at a later date. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
