Dorothy L. Hardin, 95, of Petersburg, passed away October 18, 2022 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg. She was born May 10, 1927 to Albert and Zelpha (Stephen) McLaughlin in Velpen, IN. Dorothy graduated from Otwell High School and went on to work for and eventually retire from General Electric Company.

Dorothy is survived by her brother, James McLaughlin; sisters, Lillian Ruckriegle, Marie Gilliland, and Ruth Ann Nelson; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hardin; her parents; and her sister, Joyce Stilwell.

Services for Dorothy will take place at 2 PM EST on Saturday, October 22, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 11 AM until service time. Pastor Gary Arnold will be officiating and burial will follow at Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
