Denzil Eugene Frandsen, 78, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, August 11, at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg, IN. He was born June 3, 1946 to John Frederick and Dorothy (Willis) Frandsen in Petersburg, IN. He graduated from Petersburg High School Class of 1965. He was an avid lover of trains and dirt track racing. He worked for many years at Jasper Rubber in Jasper, IN.

Denzil is survived by his son, John (April) Frandsen; daughter, Gloria Keith; grandchildren, Colton Keith, Stephanie Frandsen, and Eric Frandsen; sister, Priscilla Sue Pride; and best friends, Sonny and Jeannine Houchins.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Jeraldine Frandsen; his parents; son, Ronald Frandsen; brother, Donnie Willis; and his sister, Ula Gale Beck.

In accordance with his wishes for cremation services will be announced at a later date. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
