David Lee Miley, 74, passed away at his home in Petersburg, Indiana on June 4, 2019. David was born December 4, 1944 in Pike County to Howard and Mary (Spade) Miley. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1617 and an auxiallry member of the Petersburg VFW Post #3587. David married Barbara Belk on March 24, 1991.

David is survived by: his wife Barbara; sons Bryan Miley and Mark Loyd; daughters Sheila Miley Bjorkquist and Teri (David) Waltz; sister Betty (Paul) Newton; 7 grandchildren Aron Mason, Ashley Gideon, Dustin Jenkins, Dexter Waltz, Shelby Waltz, David Ray Waltz, and Hope Waltz; and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana. The funeral service is Monday, June 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Harris Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Williams Cemetery at White River Chapel Church in Bowman, Indiana. Pastor Jeff Newton will be officiating the services.
