Darvin Dale Stroud, 83, of Petersburg, passed away February 10, 2024 in Jasper, IN. He was born April 3, 1940 to Walter and Myrle (Bottoms) Stroud in Monroe City, IN. After high school Darvin went on to serve in the United States Army. He worked for Johnson Control in Vincennes, IN for 35 years.

Darvin is survived by his daughter, Wanda (Jim) Goodpasture; grandson, Lucas Goodpasture; and a sister, Sylvia Ervin.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Stroud; parents, Walter and Myrle (Bottoms) Stroud; a son, Keevin Stroud; brothers, Charles Osborn, Boyd Stroud, Lloyd Stroud, Rex Stroud, and Michael Stroud; sisters, Joretta Lankford and Rosie Robinson.

A graveside service for Darvin will take place at 2 PM EST on Thursday, February 15, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Monroe City, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
