Connie J. Anderson, 80, of Petersburg, passed away June 15, 2026 at Amber Manor in Petersburg. She was born June 11, 1946 to Eugene and Velasta (Deen) Morris in Hammond, IN. Connie enjoyed crocheting and working on her puzzle books. She always had a deep faith and love for God. Connie loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Connie played piano at church for many years. She was a member for several years at the Glezen Revival Center and had been recently attending the Jesus Christ Our Firm Foundation Church in Petersburg.

Connie is survived by her sons, Christopher N. (Elynn) Anderson and John Anderson; daughters, Joy (Charles) Wiscaver and Laura (Gary) Staton; a brother, Terry (Eileen) Morris; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Anderson; her parents; daughters, Pat Smith and Kyna Sue; and sisters, Shirley Featherston and Becky Overbey.

Services for Connie will take place at 1 PM EST on Saturday, June 20, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 11 AM EST until service time. Pastor Denny Wiscaver will be officiating and burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
