Charles Kent Johnson, 65, of Otwell, IN passed away December 21, 2017 in Louisville, KY. He was born in Washington, IN on September 4, 1952 to James "Stick" and Ruby (Tredway) Johnson. Charles was a lifelong resident of Otwell and graduated Otwell Highschool in 1971. He was a Union Millwright with the Local 1080 for 32 years. He enjoyed trading guns, playing cards, visiting auctions, and had a very special place in his heart for kids.
Charles is survived by his wife, Jackie (Rhoads) Johnson- Otwell; daughter, Rachel (Chris) Uebelhor- Ireland, IN; foster son, Kevin Traylor- Jasper; grandchildren, Kelby and Kalea Uebelhor- Ireland; brother, James Morgan Johnson- Otwell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Small.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday Dec. 28, 2017 at the Otwell Community Center in Otwell. A graveside will take place at a later date. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
