Catherine J. Russell, 93, of Petersburg, passed away January 10, 2021 in Washington, IN. She was born June 11, 1927 in Dutchtown, IN to Russell and Zona Lucas.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Joyce Lynn Smith Hayes; 2 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 3 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Fred Lucas.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Smith and second husband, Harold Russell; and her parents.

Private graveside services will take place at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
