Carolyn Sue Fortner, 74, died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her home in Otwell, IN.  She was born September 2, 1945 in Washington, IN to Alva and Catherine (Fowler) Capehart.  She married Buddie Fortner in 1962, with this year marking the 57th anniversary of their wedding day.  Buddie preceded her in death on April 21, 2007.  In addition to her parents, her brother Edward Capehart also precedes.

She is survived by: daughters Pam (Tim) Wiscaver of Shoals, IN and Brenda Buschkoetter of Jasper, IN; grandchildren Allen (Jenny) Wiscaver, Gwen (Robert) Cox, Justin (Alicia) Wiscaver, Andrew Wiscaver, Taylor (Lucas) Hardin, and Ty Ofer; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow at Otwell Cemetery.
