Brian Frederick

Brian Frederick, 59, of Petersburg, IN passed away May 3, 2026 in Newburgh. He was born May 19, 1966 to Donald and Maebelle (Northerner) Frederick in Washington, IN. Brian graduated Class of 1984 from Pike Central High School and has been working at Toyota for the past 17 years as a line worker.

Brian loved sports, specifically the St. Louis Cardinals baseball, IU basketball, and the Indiana Fever. His hobbies included; playing golf and going on ATV rides. He loved his family and friends deeply and was especially proud of his daughter, Skyela and son-in-law, Steven. He always had a positive attitude and enjoyed making people laugh. Anyone who knew Brian, knew that he was a very kind and giving person who would help anyone out at any time. He will be missed deeply by family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Skyela (Steven) Hughes; mother, Maebelle Frederick; brother, Dean Frederick; sister, Jeanine (Jay) Craig; nephews, Cody Frederick, Jamen Frederick, Alec Frederick, Tyler Craig; nieces, Chelsey Houchins, Casey Frederick, and Erin Craig.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Frederick; brothers, Steven and Michael Frederick.

A graveside service for Brian will be Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
