Billy Matthew Harvey, 75, of Petersburg, IN, passed away on September 13, 2021 at Cathedral Nursing Home in Jasper, IN. Billy was born in Washington, IN on December 16, 1945 to Carrol "Bill" and Ula (Jacobs) Harvey. Billy graduated from Petersburg High School in 1964. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Brush DD-745 and was a Vietnam Veteran. Billy worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 27 years, retiring in 1997.

Billy is survived by his sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Tony Harvey; and a sister, Sharon Van Meter.

A private family graveside will take place at a future date at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
