Beverly Bement, 87, formerly of Petersburg, IN passed away November 5, 2025 at Clearvista Lake Health Campus in Indianapolis, IN. She was born January 11, 1938 to Oral and Anna (Steer) Elkins in Petersburg. Beverly graduated from Otwell High School Class of 1956. Beverly worked at PCARC for many years and developed close relationships with the residents there. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sending cards – birthday cards, get well cards, all kinds of cards; if there was an occasion, she would send a card. She was also an active member of Delta Theta Tau sorority and served as the Pike County Fair Queen Pageant director for several years. Beverly was also a faithful member of the Brenton Chapel Church of Christ in Petersburg and the Green Valley Church of Christ in Noblesville where she loved, and was loved by, her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Beverly is survived by daughters Karen (Chuck) Campbell, Sheri (Jim) Weikel, and Susie (David) Stuckey, sons Bruce (Tatiana) Bement, and Chad (Racheal) Bement; grandchildren Matt Campbell, Adam Campbell, Jeremy (Nineth) Bednarski, Zac Bement, Alexander (Tirzah) Bement, and Kathryn Martin; and great-grandchildren Megan Campbell, Kara Campbell, Fiona Campbell, Liam Campbell, and Savyna Bement.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Bob, sister Barbara Snyder, and her parents.

Services for Beverly will take place at 2 PM EST on Friday, November 14, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 12 PM EST until service time. Pastor Tony Sims will be officiating, and burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown.
