Bettty Ann Auten, 83, passed away January 8 at her home. She was born in Somerville, IN to the late Christian and Madia Schmett on October 3, 1934. She was a member of the Winslow Christian Church and Beta Sigma Fi sorority. She is survived by her son, Kurt Auten-Winslow, IN; daughter, Melody Auten-Evansville; sister, Deloris Siever. Preceded in death by brother, Charles Schmett and sister, Ailene Benton.
Services for Betty will be held 2 PM on Friday Jan. 12 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with visitation from 10 AM to service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Winslow. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
