Bernard "Bernie" Wiseman, 84, of Otwell, passed away on December 23 in Petersburg, IN. He was born on August 24, 1934 in Otwell to Bernard and Lynetta Wiseman. Bernard proudly served in the United States Army. He was a self employed farmer for much of his life.

He is survived by his sons, Terry L. Wiseman of Lakeland, FL, Ron Wiseman of Hollywood, SC, and Donnie Wiseman of Otwell; daughter, Sheila Bailey of Fishers, IN; grandchildren, Drew Wiseman, Ashley Hebert, Katelyn Turner, Alexandra Wiseman, Lauren Norris, Jessie Rose Wiseman, Austin Wiseman, and Luke Bailey; sisters, Rita Sendelweck, Janice Brittain, Beverly Traylor, Judy Alcorn. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Wiseman, his parents, his grandson, Thomas Duane Wiseman; and brother Thomas A. Wiseman.

Services for Bernard will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 10 AM at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8 PM and before the service on Saturday. Burial will follow at Iva Cemetery in Otwell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pike Co. Shrine Club or the Gospel Center Church and may be mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 217 Petersburg, IN 47567. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
