Arlene Jean Barrett of Otwell, IN passed away on September 5, 2021 at her home.  Arlene was born in Chrisney, IN on November 2, 1931, the daughter of the late Armon and Lillian Young.  Arlene is preceded in death by her husband Donald of 65 years, sister Alice Miller, and brother Charles Young.

Arlene was employed at Jasper Memorial Hospital for over 40 years, working as a nurse and managing the Hospital's Central Supply Department.  She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, flowers, traveling, sports and most importantly her family.

Arlene is survived by her three sons; Steve (Ruthie) of Otwell, IN, Dave (Keri) of Winslow, IN, and Tim (Gina) of Aurora, IN, six grandchildren: Greg, Trent, Adam, Alec, Emily, & Ellen, and four great grandchildren: Beau, Zoey, Grady, & Cooper.

Friends and Family will be received on Saturday September 25, 2021 at 12:00pm at the Velpen Walnut Grove Cemetery for a Graveside Service.  Due to Covid-19 there will not be a reception following burial.
