Vivian “Cooky” Traylor, 76, passed away May 17, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born July 11, 1942 in Petersburg, IN. She retired as a bookkeeper for the City of Petersburg Water Department. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Petersburg High school Class of 1960, and an active member of the Alumni Association. She married her husband Phil Taylor on December 13, 1980.
Cooky is survived by her son, Terry (Tricia) Wornica of Petersburg; grandchildren Tia (Brent) Rogers, Tara (Kieran) Wornica, Taylor (Morgan) Petty, and Trey Wornica; great grandchildren, Bria, Joley, and Briant Rogers and Carter West; and sisters in law, Doris (Doug) Hall and Janice Cody. She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip G. Taylor.
Services for Cooky will be held at 5 PM EST on Saturday, May 25, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with visitation from 2 PM until service time. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
