Mark Allen Brittain

Mark Allen Brittain, 58, of Winslow passed away July 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1961 in Oakland City, IN to Eugene and Marna Brittain.

Mark worked as a carpenter with his dad and brothers for many years in construction. More recently in maintenance for National Office Furniture in Jasper, IN. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and brothers at the Winslow American Legion Post 115 and the Winslow Eagles Post 2646, both of which he was a member. Mark also loved art in all of its forms, but especially enjoyed sketching landscapes and nature.

Mark is survived by his brothers, David (Becky) Brittain and Jim (Susan) Brittain; sisters, Grace (Gordon) Craig, Beverly Weitkamp, and Kris (Tom) Dixon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Aaron.

A celebration of life will take place for Mark at Millers Field in Winslow, IN from 4-7 PM on July 27. His family would be honored if his friends would attend. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
