LuAnne (Fowler) Whittington

LuAnne (Fowler) Whittington, 63, of Petersburg, died Friday, December 13, 2019 at her daughter's home in Monroe City, IN.  She was born October 10, 1956 in Washington, IN to John and Mary (Sutton) Fowler.  LuAnne married Richard Whittington on February 23, 1979. She attended Vincennes University, graduating with a Paralegal Degree. She was a member of Brenton Chapel Church of Christ, a devoted mom that was crazy about her grandkids, an avid NASCAR fan, and grew up showing horses.

She is survived by her husband Richard; daughters Cassie (Jeremiah) Whittington-Sutt of Monroe City, IN and Kelly Shaw of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Cadence Shaw, Alex and Allison Sutt; and brother Jerry Fowler of Bowman, IN.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with Pastor Tony Sims officiating, with burial to follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00  p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the funeral home.
