Lois M (Catt) Hill

Lois M Hill, 81, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, in Petersburg. She was born September 11, 1936, in Petersburg, to Lloyd "Buck" and Lenora "Lover" (Spray) Catt.

Lois worked in the banking industry for 30 years. She retired from Gibson County Bank. She was a lifetime member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg, Indiana. Lois married Jim Bob Hill in 1954. She was the perfect example of everything you could want in a wife, mother, and Mamaw. You never left her house hungry.

Lois is survived by: her husband, Jim Bob Hill, of Petersburg; three daughters, Debbie Hill, Lisa Evans, and Cheryl Hill, all of Petersburg; a sister, Sara Sanders; 6 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers Robert Catt, Daniel Catt, and Roland Catt (at 2 years of age); three sisters, Rosemary Abbott, Ruth Ann Shelton, and Roberta Burns.

Services will be at 3:00p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg, Indiana. Father Frank Renner with be officiating the funeral service and mass. Burial will immediately follow at Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Union, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana. There will be a visitation Monday at the funeral home from 9:00a.m. until 2:00p.m.
