Larry "Pat" Davis

Larry "Pat" Davis, 83, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Amber Manor Healthcare in Petersburg, Indiana.

Pat was born August 14, 1935 in Algiers, Indiana, to Floyd and Annis (Bell) Davis. He work as an engineer for the Soil Conservation Service. He was also the Pike County Surveyor for 12 years.

Pat married Nelda Whitehead in 1984. She proceeded him in death on July 12, 2008. Pat was an Army veteran. Pat was a member of the Petersburg Moose Lodge #1617, VFW Post #3587, and the Shriners.

Pat was proceeded in death by: his wife, Nelda; sisters, Cleta Davis, and Marge Griffith; and brothers, Donald Davis, James Davis, and Gary Davis.

Pat is survived by: a daughter, Susan (Mark) Flint; sons, Michael Davis, and Rex (Glenda) Davis; stepchildren, Mark (Becky) Pride, Richard Pride, and Glenda (Tom) Mills; 6 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother Roger Davis; sisters, Lavone Hollis, and Virginia Polen; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 1:oo pm EST at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana. Pastor Greg Davis will be officiating the services. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Petersburg VFW Post #3587 will conducting graveside military honors. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Larry "Pat" Davis.
