Donald Ray Warner

Donald Ray Warner, 75, of Petersburg, passed away on July 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 29, 1943 in Petersburg to Stanley and Bernice Warner. Don worked as an insurance salesman for Prudential Insurance for many years. He was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Petersburg and attended the Brenton Chapel Church of Christ in Petersburg.

Don is survived by his wife, Peggy Warner of Petersburg; son, Brett (Rhonda) Warner of Petersburg; grandchildren, Zac (Amy) Warner and Shawn (Kinzee) Warner; great grandchildren, Cooper, Colt, Cali, Sophee, and Jett Warner; sisters in law, Patti Warner and Martha Pipes. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angie Warner who passed in 2005; and brother, Ed Warner.

Services for Don will take place on Thursday, August 2, at 11 AM at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, August 1, and Thrusday morning from 9:30 until service time at the funeral home. John Manges will be officiating the service and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Pike County Community Foundation on behalf of Don Warner for the Angela Warner fund. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
