Mildred L. Fears, 95, of Otwell, passed away at Amber Manor in Petersburg, on January 24, 2018.
She was born on October 29, 1922, to Ira and Flossie (Burns) Traylor.
She enjoyed being outdoors, going for long walks, and visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She graduated from Otwell High School and worked at Uniroyal in Washington.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Tammy) Fears, of Bell Buckle, Tenn., and Rick (Betty) Fears, of Lynnville; a daughter, Becky (Terry) Uppencamp, of Jasper; six grandchildren, Tim (Kathy) Fears, of Otwell, Ryan (Katie) Fears, of Boynoton, Fla., Lacey (Terry) Marsh, of Newburgh, Matt (Lori) Fears, of Evansville, Heath (Heather) Uppencamp, of Mattoon, Ill., and Holly Uppencamp, of Indianapolis; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ivan Fears; her parents; and five brothers, Jerald (Woody), Leon (Bud), Paul, Morris (Bus) and Gene Traylor.
A Celebration of Life will be at 10 a.m. EST, Friday, February 2, 2018, at Contenders of Faith Church in Otwell. Burial will take place in Otwell Public Cemetery at a later date.
